Actualment continua els seus estudis de doctorat al Departament d\u2019Hist\u00f2ria de l\u2019Art de la Universitat T\u00e8cnica d\u2019Istanbul, paral\u00b7lelament a la seva activitat professional. Despr\u00e9s de graduar-se en Hist\u00f2ria de l\u2019Art a la Universitat de Belles Arts Mimar Sinan (MSGSU) i a l\u2019Acad\u00e8mia Brera de Mil\u00e0, va obtenir el seu m\u00e0ster a MSGSU amb la tesi <em data-start=\"2416\" data-end=\"2452\">\u201cL\u2019art i la vida de Tiraje Dikmen\u201d<\/em>, en l\u2019especialitat d\u2019art occidental i art contemporani. El 2017 va rebre una beca de recerca de SALT pel projecte <em data-start=\"2567\" data-end=\"2652\">\u201cTiraje Dikmen en el context dels pintors que viatjaren a Par\u00eds als anys cinquanta\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2655\" data-end=\"2875\">Entre 2015 i 2017 va treballar en els projectes del 40\u00e8 aniversari de Ma\u00e7ka Art Gallery i va col\u00b7laborar en exposicions d\u2019arxiu. Del 2017 al 2020 va exercir com a investigadora per a una col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 privada i per a Arter.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2877\" data-end=\"3590\">Des del 2015, els seus textos han estat publicats en nombroses revistes i mitjans tant en turc com en angl\u00e8s. El 2022 va publicar el seu primer llibre, <em data-start=\"3029\" data-end=\"3052\">\u00c7a\u011fda\u015f Resmin Dervi\u015fi<\/em> [El dervix de la pintura contempor\u00e0nia], sobre la vida i obra de l\u2019artista Murat Sinkil. Ha escrit sobre artistes turques com Tiraje Dikmen, Mihri Rasim i G\u00fcl\u00e7in Aksoy per a la plataforma AWARE. Entre les exposicions col\u00b7lectives que ha comissariat destaquen: <em data-start=\"3313\" data-end=\"3332\">Balance of Wisdom<\/em> (Quick Art Space, 2024), <em data-start=\"3358\" data-end=\"3378\">Constructed Nature<\/em> (Quick Art Space, 2023), <em data-start=\"3404\" data-end=\"3450\">Mental Imaginary Things not Actually Present<\/em> (Summart, 2022), <em data-start=\"3468\" data-end=\"3500\">Another Atlas of Women Artists<\/em> (Tophane-i Amire, 2022) i <em data-start=\"3527\" data-end=\"3575\">Marvelous correspondences, subtle resemblances<\/em> (Mixer, 2021).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3592\" data-end=\"3654\">Nergis f\u00e0 la seva resid\u00e8ncia durant el mes d\u2019agost del 2025.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Nergis Ab\u0131yeva (1991) \u00e9s historiadora de l\u2019art feminista, comiss\u00e0ria, escriptora i directora de Quick Art Space, una fundaci\u00f3 art\u00edstica sense \u00e0nim de lucre amb seu a Istanbul.
